The College Held the 4th Shaanxi Province Undergraduate University Classroom Teaching Innovation Competition In-house Trial Competition

In accordance with the requirements of the "Notice of the Office of the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education on Launching the Fourth Shaanxi Undergraduate Classroom Teaching Innovation Competition" (Shaanxi Higher Education Office [2021] No. 24), the college will hold an in-house trial in the second conference room on November 4, 2021. Professor Zhang Chi from the Department of Road General and Intelligent Engineering and Associate Professor Luo Xiaoyu from the Department of Bridge Engineering served as judges, and Deputy Dean Zhang Jupeng presided over the selection contest.


Deputy Dean Zhang Jupeng said that the college implements the fundamental task of "build the virtue and foster people", I hope that our teachers will seize the opportunities of various teaching competitions, continue to innovate teaching concepts, methods and methods, continue to improve their own teaching capabilities, and improve our college's undergraduate teaching level and the quality of undergraduate talent training. In accordance with the school and provincial competition rules, 6 teachers presented 5 minutes of innovative design and lecture, and demonstrated 15 minutes’  on-site teaching. The judges made comments based on the teacher's lectures and on-site teaching, and put forward detailed opinions and suggestions for improvement from various aspects such as the conceptual framework of the curriculum, the condensing of innovation points, and the design of classroom interaction. This competition promoted the enthusiasm of young and middle-aged teachers in our school for teaching research, strengthened the concept of classroom innovation, and realized the purpose of "promoting teaching with competition, promoting innovation with competition, and promoting learning with competition". The college will further guide teachers to pursue excellence in teaching, stimulate the innovative vitality of classroom teaching, play the role of the main position of classroom education, and make greater contributions to the school's "double first-class" construction.
