On June 26, 2022, the finals of the 2022 World College Student Bridge Design Competition of the "CCCC Public Planning Institute Cup" were successfully held. The work "Light" directed by Associate Professor Zhao Guohui from the Bridge Engineering Department of our college won the second prize, and Zhao Guohui won the "Excellent Instructor Award". Luo Xiaoyu, Chen Feng, Song Yifan and other teachers from the Department of Bridge Engineering won the Excellence Award for 5 works and the Finalist Award for 3 works.
This competition received a total of 196 entries from 54 universities at home and abroad. Dozens of participating teams, led by teachers and students of our school, overcame the adverse effects of the epidemic, and successively conducted preliminary and semi-final selections in the school, which stimulated students' creative inspiration and passion, and a group of talented students who love bridge aesthetics and design emerged. The entries are bright and charming, demonstrating the rich imagination and creativity of the students.
