On the morning of May 24, the special meeting on laboratory safety of highway college was held in the first conference room of the college.Dean Chen Jianxun, Deputy Secretary and Deputy Dean Lin Guibao attended the meeting. More than 40 people, including deans of departments, deputy directors of laboratories in charge, deputy directors of key laboratories, professors in charge of scientific research laboratories, and laboratory personnel attended the meeting.The meeting was presided over by Deputy Dean Jiang Wei.
Chen Jianxun pointed out that with the joint efforts of the college and the laboratories, the college's laboratory safety work has achieved remarkable results, but we must also be soberly aware of the complexity, arduousness, stubbornness, long-term and extreme importance of laboratory safety work.We need to constantly improve our political position, strengthen the awareness of safety red line, improve the laboratory safety responsibility system, improve the laboratory safety management level, make concerted efforts to promote the continuous improvement of the laboratory safety work of the college, create a safe, healthy, orderly and comfortable scientific research and experiment environment for the faculty and students of the college, and escort the high-quality development of the college, present to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the party.
Jiang Wei made a detailed interpretation of the specific daily management requirements such as safety training drill, inspection account, safety signs and signs, inspection registration card of fire hydrant and extinguisher, etc. according to the laboratory safety checklist of colleges and universities (2021).
Lin Guibao mainly made specific arrangements for the strict implementation of safety responsibilities, constantly strengthening laboratory safety education, and strengthening the management and control work in other areas of campus safety.
After the meeting, the participants carried out a safety inspection of the laboratory together. For the hidden dangers found in the inspection, all laboratories were required to set up rectification and reform, and those that could not be completed immediately should set up hidden trouble accounts, formulate rectification plans, and follow up rectification.
