On October 12, 2021, the National Textbook Work Conference and the First National Textbook Construction Award Commendation Conference were held in Beijing. Our school was awarded the title of "National Teaching Material Construction Advanced Group".
Based on the development of the industry, the college actively responds to the national strategy of docking, keeping up with the social needs of talents, keeping in mind the original mission of educating people for the party and the country, improving the teaching material system, tempering high-quality teaching materials, and actively developing international teaching materials. In recent years, a number of national Twelfth and Thirteenth Five-Year Plan textbooks and international textbooks have been published, providing a solid guarantee for my country's highway transportation talent training, curriculum construction, and education and teaching reforms. The teaching materials compiled by the teachers of the college closely follow the international academic frontiers and the pace of development of the times, and effectively serve the needs of national strategy and economic and social development for talents’ training. The ideological, scientific, advanced, enlightening, and applicability of the teaching materials have been unanimously praised by enterprises, institutions, and industry colleges, and they have been selected by 150 colleges and universities. The demonstration and radiation effects are significant. The first national textbook construction award selection was launched in 2020. And it is the first time since the founding of New China to set up a special award project covering all fields of textbook construction, and it is also the highest award in the field of textbook construction in the country. The award is sponsored by the National Textbook Committee and undertaken by the Ministry of Education. It is selected every four years to commend various types of excellent textbooks at all levels and advanced collectives and individuals who have made outstanding contributions. The college will continue to give full play to the functions and roles of teaching materials, such as soul-building, key support, and cultural exchanges, and continuously improve the modernity, ideological and scientific nature of teaching materials, build a high-quality teaching material system, and help improve the quality of top-notch innovative talents, work hard to accelerate the modernization of education and the construction of a strong transportation country.
