The seminar on the construction of underground space engineering major was successfully held in Xi'an in the form of online and offline integration. More than 1,000 teachers and students from more than 80 colleges and universities offering urban underground space engineering majors across the country participated and watched the conference. The theme of this symposium is "Actively Responding to the Dual-Carbon Strategy and Continuously Promoting the Construction of Urban Underground Space Engineering". Dean Chen Jianxun was invited to host the keynote report. Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Professor Chen Xiangsheng of Shenzhen University made a keynote report on "Use and Thinking of my country's Urban Underground Space". National Engineering Survey and Design Master and Professor Chen Zhilong from Army Engineering University made a keynote report on "Development of Underground Logistics Distribution System and Reconstruction of Future Urban Transportation and Logistics System".
Vice President Zhang Jiupeng was invited to host a symposium. Teachers and teaching managers of urban underground space engineering in various universities discussed the development of urban underground space engineering under the double-carbon strategy, professional construction concepts, training model reform, training program revision, curriculum system construction, etc. The content was well reported. Professor Weng Xiaolin from the Department of Urban Rail Engineering made a special report entitled "Measures for the Construction of Urban Underground Space Engineering Majors in Universities with Industry Characteristics under the Background of the Strategy of Powerful Transportation", which received great attention from on-site and online experts.
