On July 11, the faculty meeting of the first half of 2021 was held in the Academic Exchange Center at the north of the Chang ’an University’s south campus. All faculty and staff of the college attended the meeting.
Chen Jianxun, dean of the college, summarized the work in the first half year. Dean Chen introduced the college's basic situation, scientific research, talent cultivation, teaching staff, discipline construction and other ten aspects from three perspectives of the first half of 2021, including the achievements, problems and work plan. At the same time, he made a comprehensive review and summary of the school's work in the first half of the year, and prospected and deployed the future work. He pointed out that in the first half of this year, with the joint efforts of all the teachers and students, the college has made gratifying achievements in personnel training, discipline construction and scientific research, however, more investment should be paid to the construction of talent teams and key platforms. He hoped all of us work with one heart and one mind to create a new situation for the development of the college and make new contributions to the development of the school.
Vice Deans Zhang Jiupeng, Jiang Wei and Han Wanshui, Liu Xu, Deputy Party Secretary of the College respectively gave a briefing on professional certification, laboratory safety, postgraduate teaching, scientific research, student retention management and other related work. At the end of the meeting, Lin Guibao, deputy Secretary and deputy dean, announced the study of party history in summer vacation, and arranged the relevant work and summer vacation duty arrangement of the college in the near future.
